Presentation Information of ISDL '97

Equipments:
- Over Head Projector
- Slide Projector
- LCD Projector
- Physical resolution = 800x600
- Logical resolution = 640x350 - 1280x1024
- Input signal = H-Sync 15k - 65kHz / VSync 38 - 120Hz
- Input connectors = S-Video, BNC (composite/NTSC, PAL, or SECAM),
BNCs for component analog RGB (H-Sync and V-Sync are separated
or mixed with Green)
- A Video Casette Player and a notebook PC will be connected
to the LCD projector above.
- Video Casette Player
- Tape type = VHS, S-VHS, 8mm, Hi-8
- Video encoding = NTSC (we have no PAL or SECAM player)
- Notebook PC
- IBM-PC compatible/Pentium CPU
(TOSHIBA Dynabook SatellitePro)
- Connected to LAN (LAN will be reachable to the Internet
via NTT-OCN service. Please check or ask the thoughput
before your presentation.)
- MS-Windows95 (Japanese Version)
- MS-PowerPoint97 (Japanese Version)
- Netscape Navigator 3.x (Japanese Version)
Note (Very Important):
- Please let us know the equipments required for your presentation.
Please let us know your requirements before the symposium
by email or before your session at the registration desk.
We would very much appreciate receiving your requirements by
E-mail before the symposium if you will use the LCD projector
and/or PC. (Low-Tech equipments (OHP, 35mm slides and VCP) are
reliable. :-)
- If you want to use your own equipments for presentation,
please contact us before the symposium.
- If you want to use the MS-PowerPoint97 mentioned above,
please check your slides are compatible with the Japanese Version.

- A bulletin board on which you can pin up your posters.
- board size = width:1800mm height:900mm
- both faces
- pins
Note:
- You can prepare your posters for presentation in the afternoon
(15:00-17:00) on Nov. 18 (Tue), or in the morning on Nov. 19 (Wed).
- We hope you leave your posters after the poster session for
the participants until the late afternoon on Nov. 20 or later.
