Praditta Siripan is an Information Specialist at the Technical Information Access Center of Thailand's National Science and Technology Development Agency. She has a BA English and Library Science from Chulalongkorn University and an MA in Librarianship and Information Management from the University of Denver. Her professional experience has covered reader services, management of computerized information services, information storage and retrieval, database production, marketing of information services, and the management of Web resources for the science and technology community. At TIAC, in addition, she specializes in on-line database searching, thesaurus construction, multimedia production, and SGML encoding. She is particularly interested in initiatives related to electronic publications and digital archives of materials in the Thai language and has created a version of the Dublin Core metadata standard in Thai.
